Liadi Bashir, the head coach of Omidiran Babes FC said his team is confident ahead of the 2020 Nigeria Women Amateur League Campaign beginning on Wednesday in Benin.

The former Osun Babes gaffer told thenwfl.com that his team is all set to pick one of the promotion ticket to the second tier league of the NWFL.

The ‘Lagos’ based side will be playing against Ubakala Queens, Naija Ratel FC, Kwara Ladies FC and Moje Queens FC in their quest to gain promotion and Liadi thinks his team is good to go.

” We have a new team and a new mentality. Playing in the third tier league is different and seem more difficult than in the Premier League.

” The crop of players we have here in Omidiran Babes are young and hungry for success, which make the job even easier for me as a coach. We look forward to a successful outing “.

The Nigeria Women Amateur League (NWAL) will kick off from Tuesday, February 4th to Sunday, February 9th 2020 at the University of Benin Football Pitch.
