The management of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) has expressed shock on the untimely death of NFF Executive Committee Member, Alhaji Musa Duhu and Head Coach of NWFL Premiership side, Edo Queens FC of Benin City, Gabriel Adejor.

In a condolence message signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Faith Ben-Anuge, on behalf of the NWFL Chairperson, Aisha Falode and management of the league body, the C. O. O described the death of the two football stakeholders as shocking and devastating.
The condolence message for the late Adamawa State F.A Chairman and NFF Executive Member reads:
“We are indeed devastated by the sad news of the passing away of Alhaji Musa Duhu and in absolute grief because he was a loyal soldier of the Nigeria Football Federation.

“His death will have a vacuum that will be greatly missed in Grassroots football development in Adamawa state and also in the organizational thrust of the Nigeria Football Federation.”
That of the late Head Coach of Edo Queens:
“This is indeed a very difficult time for us at the NWFL, we grief earnestly for the loss of a great man, who wasn’t just a coach, but in many cases a father figure to his players.

Coach Gabriel Adejor was an outstanding Nigerian who was respected, not only on the field of play but in life generally and he was without a doubt a true icon in the world of sports.”
