Moje Queens Football Club Head Coach, Abejide Samuel, has been speaking to thenwfl.com ahead of the 2019 NWFL Pro-League competition which starts in Lokoja on the 4th of October.
The experienced coach has been with the Erin-Ile based team for sometime now and feels its the high time for the modest club to join the elite clubs in the NWPL.
Moje Queens will play against Police Machine FC of Uyo, Olori Babes of Warri and Pelican Stars of Calabar as they search for a premiership ticket which has eluded them for the past three seasons.
‘No pain, no gain’ we have to make it through this time around, as we are fully prepared and have better players. Our preparation is better than last year’s and we have better players now. He told thenwfl.com
“We hope to capitalise on the experience we garnered last year in Benin and hopefully put it to use. We know all the teams competing are good, but we will give our best and surely get one of the tickets to the premier league.
“Olori Babes are perhaps a very good side, so also is Pelican Stars and Police Machine FC. We know these teams and we also know we are going to be glorious. He concluded.
