The Chief Executive Officer of Delta Queens, Henrrietta Ehiabor, is optimistic that her side can do better when the league resumes for the second round.
The former Team Manager of the ‘Okowa Ladies’ feels her side needs to be mentally strong and consistent if they are to achieve their aim of playing in the Super 4 this season. She told thenwfl.com
There are plenty of promises in the Delta Queens side, but Ehiabor knows they must be consistent if they are to have a successful season.
“We started well with an away draw in Osogbo, won Rivers Angels in Asaba and shockingly drew against FC Robo at home and we are just a point behind group leaders Rivers Angels.
“At this moment, all we need to do is learn and improve mentally because we have a great squad and a good manager. You need to be consistent as a team. Week in week out, you need to keep wanting to pick maximum points both home and away, Ehiabor told thenwfl.com.
“The league is very competitive and demanding this season and we have to always be at our best to achieve our goal at the end of the season. Everyone here wants success. The players are ready for it, the technical crew and backroom staff eagerly await success and we shall keep working hard to achieve that. She concluded.
