Stand-in Super Falcons Coach, Christopher Danjuma and Delta State F.A Boss Edema Fuludu has hailed the abundance of talents discovered at the just concluded Nigeria Women Premier League Playoffs in Lokoja.
The top football personalities were present as the second tier teams of the NWFL slugged it out amongst themselves for just two slots in the premier league.
Fuludu Edema who watched all games had a lot to say with the quality of players he saw display and told thenwfl.com that he was amazed by what he saw and think the league organisers has done so well with the organisation of the Pro-League.
“The playoffs has been well organised and I must give kudos to the Aisha Falode led board who has done so well in bringing more innovations into the women’s league.
“I think all teams played well and many talents has been discovered here, from Olori Babes to Moje Queens , to Police Machine FC and of course Pelican Stars.
“We will keep supporting the girls and making sure more talents are found and polished at this stage. He concluded.
Meanwhile, Head Coach of the Nigerian senior Women football team, Christopher Danjuma also thinks high about the talent discovered at Lokoja.
“The NWFL Pro-League has afforded us to see the potential in women football, the talents is in abundance and am not surprised because we are blessed with talents in this country. He told thenwfl.com
“We have a lot of players here that can be nurtured into greatness and am so glad I made it here today to see by myself.
“The second tier league seems to be more difficult than the premier league. These girls want to make names and put all they have on ground. With some surprising result recorded at the Pro-league, I think both teams that gained promotion for the 2019/2020 NWPL season will definitely do well. He concluded.
