Newly promoted Nigeria Women Premier League side, Olori Babes Football Club of Warri, have confirmed their homeground for the 2019/2020 NWPL Season.
The Chairperson of the club, Mrs Obiageli Sifo, confirmed to thenwfl.com that the team will be playing their home games at the Warri Township Stadium, Warri.
The Pro-League Champions had their victory parade on the streets of Warri in a motorcade on Tuesday afternoon.
Mrs. Sifo, who is the sole financier of the club was full of praises for the young girls and promised them better welfare ahead of the 2019/2020 NWPL season.
“It is a great feat and I want to thank everyone that made this possible. We are proud of the team and what they achieved in Lokoja. Winning three games out of three and not conceding any” She told thenwfl.com
“We will be playing our home games at the Warri Township Stadium and the fans here are already yearning for women’s football.
She continued ; ” We still have enough time to prepare ahead of next season’s Premier League. Its our debut season and we definitely need to do well, she stated.
Olori Babes got promotion to the Premier League by winning all their matches at the just concluded NWFL Pro-League playoffs in Lokoja.
