Kaduna Queens head coach, Aminu Shuaib, has tasked his players to give their all and play more than expected when they face Osun Babes in the relegation play-off of the Nigeria Women Premier League in Abuja on the 2nd of October.

The ‘Crocodile Ladies’ ended bottom of Group C which had Bayelsa Queens, Nasarawa Amazons and Sunshine Queens with four points and will play against the ‘Omoluabi Queens’ in a playoff to determine who stays in the premier league.

Shuiab whose team got a rare victory against Nasarawa Amazons in Kaduna and deservedly picked a draw against defending champions Bayelsa Queens during the league proper is confident that his side will win Osun Babes when they meet next week.

“We want to remain in the premier league and it means we have to win against Osun Babes on Wednesday. They are a good side and we must look at their poor form during the regular season. He told thenwfl.com.

“We got four points and they ended up with just a point. It doesn’t matter now, all that matters is who wins the playoff.

“We have been training hard for this game and all we have to do now is to put more than hundred percent in the match. I have told my players that its just 90minutes of football. If we win, we stay up. Remaining in the premier league means a lot to us and our fans.” We are optimistic of a favourable result. He concluded.
