Head Coach of Warri based side Olori Babes Abayomi Olorunda is confident that his young side will pull out surprises when the Nigeria Women Premier League Pro-League kicks off in Lokoja on the 4th of October.
Olori Babes will tackle Police Machine FC of Uyo, Pelican Stars of Calabar and Moje Queens of Erin-Ile for a spot in the premier league next season.
Speaking with thenwfl.com, the former Plateau United Goalkeeper turned coach said his team is fully prepared and has all it takes to get promotion to the elite league.
“We have a very young team that will surprise everyone in Lokoja. In fact we are going to surprise the whole of Nigeria. Olorunda assured.
“Our team is young, but not inexperienced as everyone would think. We gathered some exposure at the recently concluded AITEO Cup where we crashed out in the round of 16 to Edo Queens.
“My players are very determined and want to make names for themselves, the only way they can do that is to play well and win games. I have absolute confidence in them as we plan to approach our games with a lot of caution, definitely not looking down on any team.
Olori Babes is a Warri based team playing in the second tier of the Nigeria Women Football League, the Pro-League.
