Tributes have continued pouring in for the birthday of the Chairperson of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), Aisha Falode.

Fondly known as the ‘Amazon’, Aisha Falode is widely respected for her innovative ideas that has led to the development of the Nigeria Women Football League in the past three years.

Aisha Falode had a fulfilling career as a Sports Journalist before venturing into Football administration. A former Member of the CAF Media Committee and presently one of the leading Women Football administrator in Africa.

@theNWFL club side @DreamStarsport also celebrated the NWFL Supremo: ” Hurray… We celebrate the birthday of an Amazon, an Icon of Journalism & Sports Administration. You’re a blessing to this generation. We pray that you continue to Prosper in goodness and greatness. Happy birthday to you Aisha Falode, Chairperson NWFL long life and prosperity. ”
