Bayelsa Queens forward, Anjor Mary, is excited at playing in her first Super 4 Championship and feels it would be special if she ends up becoming league champion for the first time in her career.
The former Osun Babes forward has been an integral part of the ‘Restoration Girls’ since joining them in January and spoke with thenwfl.com about the excitement that the competition brings.
“Winning the league is my dream and my main objective for now. We have great players here and good enough we all have the winning mentality to become champions once again.”
“Some of my teammates won the Super 4 last year and they told me how special it was. I want to have the same feelings too. We are ready to defend the title we won last year, but of course we have to take it slowly and win our first game to get to the final.
“The Super 4 is always very difficult, because we have the best teams in the league tackling one another. We understand that every team is coming to Lagos well prepared. We have to think of only one thing and that is victory always,” she said.
