Adamawa Queens Head Coach, Jacob Vandi, believes his players need to believe more in themselves if they are to become champions in Lagos.

The young tactician made history by becoming the first manager to qualify the ‘Fintiri’ Ladies to the prestigious Super 4 Championship in the history of the cluba.

Speaking with thenwfl.com, the manager said his players won’t be intimidated by the more experienced teams in the Championship, but rather has asked his players to go all out to win all their games and become champions.

“It is true that we are new at the Super 4, but surely means nothing to me and my players. We are as hungry for success as the other teams.

“I keep telling my players to remain focused and put their all in the two games. If we win both, then we are champions”, insisted Vandi.

“We need to create more chances and score goals. We need to be adventurous enough, take risk and make things happen.

“We have been working really hard on physical robustness and the players are in great shape ahead of our challenges in Lagos. Everyone in Adamawa thinks high of us and we surely don’t want to let them down. He concluded.
