Invincible Angels chief coach, Ada Nwaneri, says Invincible Angels will return to the premier league next season following their relegation from the top flight after just one season.

The ‘Gboko Ladies’ lost 4- 3 via penalties against Dream Stars Ladies after playing a 1-1 draw thus dropping into the second tier Pro-League.

The former Super Falcons player praised her players’ ‘terrific’ spirit this season, despite them going down and was clear about the reason for her side’s relegation.

“I certainly believe we will bounce back”, Nwaneri told thenwfl.com.

“We have a group of talented players who are truly young. The way they performed all through the season really gives us hope and confidence that the future is bright for the team and the players.

“The energy, the will, and belief has been great. If you look at the scorelines we have had this season, you will understand that we recorded fair results all through. We have the qualities, but it’s about finding it right all the time.

“The players will surely grow in confidence and come back stronger next season. I have no doubt about that. She concluded.
